For Foreign students:
Foreign
students who whish to continue their studies in Switzerland must
obtain a residence permit for studies (permis B). This permit allows
to sojourn in Switzerland for a period of studies of more than three
months.
The
following documents must provided in order that your request can be
recorded by the Office Cantonal des Etrangers (Regional Foreigner
Office) for the obtaining of the student permit (B):

CV (Curriculum vitae)
-
Letter of acceptance by the school
(delivered as soon as payment of the tuition-deposit)
-
Plans for the future, for instance, professional developments
intended by the student having finished the studies in Switzerland,
explanation as to how you think your future to benefit from these
studies, duration of the studies (this document must be written in
French or English)

Photocopies of the diplomas
-
Photocopy of the passport
-

recent passport-size pictures
-
Arrival Form
-
Proof of sufficient financial means
NB:
Students from a country for which a VISA is necessary, must
submit their application for a VISA to the Swiss Embassy/consulate
of their country.
Documents to provide for a VISA:

forms "Application for authorization to enter Switzerland"
dully filled in either by typing or with a blue or black ballpoint
pen, in English, German, French or Italian, dated and signed by
the student.

Letter of acceptance by the AGORA school

CV
-
Plans of studies
-
Professional developments intended
(why learning French, etc.)

Your complete address in English

Photocopy of a valid passport
In addition, the student must take out a health and personal
insurance (AGORA school can provide you with a list of the different
insurance companies).
In case of refusal of the permit, the money already
paid will be refunded except the tuition fees.
We don't get back the money if the student leave the class before
the term.
